No one will know how far you walked, what bridge you crossed over, and what dangers you encounter until you speak. Until then their will always be assumptions and negative energy that will surround you among other things if you don’t speak. BUT you don’t owe anybody anything, no apologies or explanations. Don’t feel sorry and don’t look back, because nobody is going to give you their last breath to breathe.

Jackee was the first Black woman to win an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Sadly, since that day in 1987 no other black woman has been honored with that award.
